Spudgun News
March 21, 2017 - DANG. It's been nine years since I updated? Also this site has been around for almost TWENTY YEARS. Wow.
April 11, 2008 - Will Foster from my hometown of Flint, Michigan made the news with his latest invention: a 1/2 scale Panzer tank with a 360 degree rotating turret. The turret fires paintball sabots and uses an air cannon with a scuba tank for loading!
September 17, 2007 - Added some new pages about spudgun construction, potato gun valves and spud launcher types!
June 1, 2007 - A new page is dedicated just to potato gun plans, spud gun plans, potato cannon plans and spudguns by any other name.
March 16, 2007: Workin' on the site again.
October 3, 2006: Updates coming! Check back for some new stuff, spudgun information, potato cannon designs and a bit better site layout.
January 30, 2005: The last update ever. Whis site is stealing all my hits from Google with its old and dusty resume and pages. So I managed to get back in and change things up a bit, and redirect links to my real site, Forge22 Design . Send all your click-thrus to me there, and I'd love to take on your graphic/web design requests....
June 19, 2002: Oh yes. It's finally summer. And I've received great input from you loyal fans out there, that my website is great, works well, and that you appreciate my plans and updates. I've been trying to get my sniper rifle working again, including adding O-rings and a few mods and fixups. Also, I need only a few more parts to finish my big gun, the piston cannon (but more on that later). Please be patient as I continue to change my site and experiment with things. No new plans yet, but some are in the pencil stages on paper. Maybe I'll scan them just to tease you...
October 17, 2001: As you see, I've completely redesigned my entire site, even giving it a new name. I hope you like it. Be sure to take the poll on the home page to let me know. It's still under construction, so check back for more goodies!
May 21, 2001: Time to get things rolling again, Summer's here! I've been working on my guns again, and my buddy's sniper rifle is awesome. Try shooting marshmallows! The poll was lost in some fiasco where it was hosted, so I got rid of it. But most of you want to see more Sniper, followed by Bazooka, Combustion and future plans. And oh, yes, I have some great ideas brewing. I think I might scan in my sketches, if I can free up some space here.
March 09, 2001: I'm building a sniper rifle for a buddy here at college right now. So there will be new fun very soon. Sorry all, I'm not building and selling these guns as of yet.
December 19, 2000: Added some new links on the spudgun ammo and link page. This guy makes some sweet missiles and has a stun-gun for an ignitor! A review to come soon and further updates just as soon as I get more space. Another link to a site with mini-spudguns. I'm transferring colleges very soon, so I've been extremely busy.
December 8, 2000: New pics added, after a long overdue wait! More pics to come, as soon as I get the space. And yes, I'm working on the plans too. I've had a lot of questions about those. I'm in finals week, so you may have to wait a little longer... New stories, etc, take a look all over the place! Let me know if any links are bad. I hate bad links.
October 3, 2000: Two more potato gun stories added, please email me if they are yours, I forgot your email. Gah, I've been hella busy, so you may have to wait longer for those plans. I drew the previous in Windows Paint, pixel by friggin pixel. I have some sketches I may scan in.
August 6, 2000: Updating the site with improved plans and a few other things. If you build any of my guns, I would really love to see a picture of them or any stories.
July 6, 2000: I'm leaving to travel for the summer, so the new plans will have to wait. But I've added a new story.
May 25, 2000: I posted some new plans for a basic pneumatic cannon. Check them out. I am still touching up the site and its' layout.
May 20, 2000: 'Bout time I got this site updated! I hope you find the new layout easier to print and use. I will post more information and better plans as time permits.
January 2, 2000: Damn! Happy new year! Anyway, I've added a pic of the valve I use and you can find plans for my sniper rifle! The sniper rifle uses my new breech loader.
August 22, 1999: I've begun work on my latest gun yesterday, the designs came from Andy's page. It's a very large sniper rifle, with a one inch barrel.
September 6, 1998: I've put some easy-to-follow plans for the pneumatic cannon on my page, including a nice circuit diagram for the control box.
September 5, 1998: Joined Air Cannons of the Internet, added combustion cannon plans.
August 31, 1998: I completed work on my first pneumatic cannon.
